Behind the Design

This couple wanted their office space to accommodate their two young children, so Jeanne designed a joint extended desk space that allowed them to also sit at their own table.

“The extended middle shared desk area is my favorite part of the custom desk design. It provides additional desk surface area while also making great use of the open space into the room. And who doesn’t love a curved desk?”

Wellness Design Feature

Since the homeowners have such young children, it was important that the design have curved, rounded edges so they didn’t hit their heads on the desk. I was able to make all of the corners curved which also visually represents the connection the homeowners have with each other.
